Day one (Emergency Paediatric First Aid)
- Role and responsibilities of paediatric first aider
- Incident and casualty assessment
- CPR and AED
- Unconscious casualty
- Choking casualty
- External bleeding
- Minor injuries and bites and stings
Day one will have an Assessment and Test Paper
- Head, neck and back injuries
- Eyes, ears and nose conditions
- Chronic medical conditions or sudden illness
- Febrile convulsions
- Body temperature
- Electric shock
- Burns and scalds
- Poisonous substances
- Allergic reaction inc anaphylaxis

Pre-School near Arborfield
Arborfield is a village in Berkshire about 4.5 miles (7 km) south-east of Reading, about 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Wokingham. It is about 0.6 miles (1 km) west of the sister village of Arborfield Cross and the two villages have become collectively known as Arborfield, with no signs marking their boundary.
