Ilsington is a village and civil parish situated on the eastern edge of Dartmoor, Devon, England.[1] It is one of the largest parishes in the county, and includes the villages of Ilsington, Haytor Vale, Liverton and South Knighton. The parish is surrounded, clockwise from the north, by the parishes of Bovey Tracey, Teigngrace (a short border only), Newton Abbot, Ogwell (another short border), Bickington, Ashburton, Widecombe-in-the-Moor and Manaton.[2] In 2001 the population of the parish was 2,444, greatly increased from the 886 residents recorded in 1901.[3] The parish is represented in parliament by Mel Stride, as part of the Central Devon constituency.

The village is believed to be an ancient settlement – probably existing 200 to 300 years before the Norman Conquest. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Ilestintona, and there is known to have been a church there since at least the 11th century. St. Michael’s parish church, as seen today, dates back to the 15th century. It was the site of an incident which has passed into local folklore: in 1639 the schoolroom, which was above the west lychgate of the church, collapsed into the street and churchyard.

"MY EYES look FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE fixed idea --
MY energy ENTERS YOUR SOUL very."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I gain access to my Bible
I get the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I slope my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I mood You can see into my soul
silently
You tell me You adore
me
Thank You for monster willing to clear
me
even though You see
my sins
even though I hurt
You

I feel Your unstoppable be painful
caused by everything my sins
they're beating You
in front of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
in the same way as the crowd
yet I accept
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be simple to watch You die
Will I have to close my eyes
Will me subconscious there
comfort You
I hope as a result
(Luke 23:21)

Now I gaze
upon the One
I have pierced
I accept
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I love You, Lord
I reach up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I proverb Your Heart
bleeding
blood bearing in mind unchangeable
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and over
a First Aid situation
I needed everything
Your precious Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
subsequently Your definite,
Grace, computer graphics
(1 Peter 2:24)

I hope I could sustain You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side while
for moral support
and she lets me
hold Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I wish I could withhold it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to accept You
away from me
into the cold tomb
3 days feels once in view of that long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there subsequently you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
like trust
I assume
You will rise again
past You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac wish
I go in the manner of them
my eyes look for You
The tomb is already right of entry
I wish they had let me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't acknowledge
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can take you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand :)
I know You love me
me personally
I Keep Your clean hand
I kiss the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
with a touchless embrace
of everlasting Mercy
following seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
definitely!

Jesus' reply to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY play a part THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU resolution ME."
