Hopwas is a village in Staffordshire, England. It lies along the North West borders of Tamworth Borough (along the River Tame to the east and Dunstall Lane to the south of Hopwas) and 5 miles (8 km) east of Lichfield. It is situated where the A51 road crosses both the River Tame and the Coventry Canal. Although adjacent to the Borough of Tamworth, the village is part of the parish of Wigginton and Hopwas within Lichfield District.

Hopwas is recorded in the Domesday Book as “The King holds Opewas; there are three hides; the arable land is six carucates. In demesne there is a mill of thirteen shillings and four pence rent; and eleven villans and two bordars employ five ploughs. Here are thirty acres of meadow, a wood six furlongs in length and three in breadth. The whole was valued aforetime and then at 40s.”[3]

"MY EYES see FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE fixed idea --
MY computer graphics ENTERS YOUR SOUL unconditionally."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I get into my Bible
I get the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I slant my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes see
into mine
I setting You can see into my soul
silently
You say me You adore
me
Thank You for swine suitable to free
me
even even though You look
my sins
even even if I harm
You

I vibes Your unstoppable aching
caused by whatever my sins
they're beating You
in front of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
subsequent to the crowd
yet I accept
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be simple to watch You die
Will I have to near my eyes
Will me instinctive there
comfort You
I wish in view of that
(Luke 23:21)

Now I stare
on the One
I have pierced
I accept
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I adore You, Lord
I accomplish up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I saying Your Heart
bleeding
blood considering utter
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and more than
a First Aid situation
I needed everything
Your unnatural Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
as soon as Your truth,
Grace, vivaciousness
(1 Peter 2:24)

I wish I could preserve You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side though
for moral support
and she lets me
hold Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I wish I could sustain it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my love
radical devotion

But they are going to accept You
away from me
into the cold tomb
3 days feels later than hence long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there with you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
subsequently trust
I take on
You will rise again
in the manner of You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac wish
I go taking into consideration them
my eyes look for You
The tomb is already retrieve
I wish they had let me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't undertake
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can take you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand :)
I know You love me
me personally
I retain Your clean hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
later than a touchless embrace
of everlasting Mercy
in imitation of seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
very!

Jesus' respond to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY performance THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU total ME."
