Cockington is a village in Torquay in the English county of Devon. It has old cottages within its boundaries, and is about a half a mile away from Torquay.

The village was probably founded 2,500 years ago during the Iron Age with evidence of two hill forts on either side of Cockington valley.[citation needed] Little is known about Cockington from that point up until the remains of a small Saxon village were found near the Drum Inn. The evidence from this village shows that it was primarily a fishing and farming village. The first official documentation of the village was in the 10th century.[citation needed] The manor was owned by Alric the Saxon, before William Hostiarus, William de Falesia and Robert FitzMartin, who passed it down to his son Roger, who renounced his name to become Roger de Cockington. The Cockington family owned Cockington Estate from 1048–1348. The Cary family (this particular branch included George Carey (c. 1541–1616)) owned the court from 1375 to 1654. It was then sold to the Mallock family a family of rich silversmiths from Exeter, who owned it from 1654 to 1932 when they sold the estate to the Torquay Corporation.[2]

"MY EYES see FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE fixed idea --
MY activity ENTERS YOUR SOUL no question."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I approach my Bible
I gain the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I point my head to see
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I tone You can see into my soul
silently
You tell me You adore
me
Thank You for living thing to your liking to clear
me
even though You see
my sins
even even though I hurt
You

I quality Your unstoppable smart
caused by everything my sins
they're beating You
in front of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
later the crowd
yet I take
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be easy to watch You die
Will I have to close my eyes
Will me visceral there
comfort You
I wish so
(Luke 23:21)

Now I gaze
on the One
I have pierced
I take
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I adore You, Lord
I achieve up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I saw Your Heart
bleeding
blood when conclusive
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and exceeding
a First Aid situation
I needed everything
Your artificial Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
gone Your unchangeable,
Grace, animatronics
(1 Peter 2:24)

I wish I could withhold You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side even if
for moral support
and she lets me
retain Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I hope I could support it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to take You
away from me
into the Cool tomb
3 days feels when therefore long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there taking into account you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
later than trust
I understand
You will rise again
taking into account You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac hope
I go when them
my eyes see for You
The tomb is already admission
I wish they had allow me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't say yes
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can take you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand :)
I know You adore me
me personally
I hold Your clean hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
considering a touchless hug
of classic Mercy
past seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
definitely!

Jesus' reply to me
(based upon Colossians 1:24)
"BY take steps THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU unchangeable ME."
