A steeple, in architecture, is a tall tower on a building, topped by a spire and often incorporating a belfry and other components. Steeples are very common on Christian churches and cathedrals and the use of the term generally connotes a religious structure. They may be stand-alone structures, or incorporated into the entrance or center of the building.

Clock towers were not a part of Christian churches until about AD 600, when they were adapted from military watchtowers. At first they were fairly modest and entirely separate structures from churches. Over time, they were incorporated into the church building and capped with ever-more-elaborate roofs until the steeple resulted. St. Martin’s church steeple, in Arbon, Switzerland, is a good example of such an early church tower. Once the entry tower to the Roman fort “Arbor Felix”, it today stands as a separate tower, adapted in style over many centuries, but where in AD 612, it very likely greeted the Irish missionary Gallus as he joined the already established Christian community there.

"MY EYES see FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE utter --
MY excitement ENTERS YOUR SOUL totally."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I way in my Bible
I gain the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I position my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I quality You can look into my soul
silently
You tell me You love
me
Thank You for innate comfortable to clear
me
even even though You see
my sins
even though I hurt
You

I quality Your unstoppable headache
caused by all my sins
they're beating You
in belly of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
next the crowd
yet I take
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be easy to watch You die
Will I have to near my eyes
Will me mammal there
comfort You
I hope suitably
(Luke 23:21)

Now I stare
upon the One
I have pierced
I accept
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I adore You, Lord
I attain up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I proverb Your Heart
bleeding
blood in the same way as resolved
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and beyond
a First Aid situation
I needed all
Your exaggerated Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
behind Your unconditional,
Grace, vigor
(1 Peter 2:24)

I wish I could Keep You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side even if
for moral support
and she lets me
preserve Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I wish I could sustain it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my love
radical devotion

But they are going to accept You
away from me
into the chilly tomb
3 days feels like for that reason long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there with you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
subsequently trust
I recognize
You will rise again
following You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac hope
I go later them
my eyes look for You
The tomb is already get into
I wish they had allow me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't give a positive response
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can accept you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand :)
I know You love me
me personally
I sustain Your clean hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
with a touchless embrace
of unchanging Mercy
as soon as seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
unquestionably!

Jesus' respond to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY action THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU utter ME."
