Shirwell is a village, civil parish and former manor in the local government district of North Devon, in the county of Devon, England. It was also formerly the name of a hundred of Devon. The village lies about 3.5 miles north-east of the town of Barnstaple, to the east of the A39 road to Lynton. The parish is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of East Down, Arlington, Loxhore, Bratton Fleming, Goodleigh, Barnstaple, West Pilton and Marwood.[1] In 2001 its population was 333, little changed from the 1901 figure of 338.[2]

The parish church in the village is the church of St Peter which has 13th-century origins while the chancel is of 14th-century date. It underwent a Victorian restoration by the architect William White between 1873 and 1889. An effigy in the chancel is said to be of Blanche St. Leger (d.1483) and above this is a monument to Lady Anne Chichester (d. 1723).[3][4] Other 18th-century monuments survive in the church.[4] Here also is a memorial plaque to the aviator and sailor Sir Francis Chichester, who was born in the Rectory in the village.

"MY EYES see FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE unchangeable --
MY simulation ENTERS YOUR SOUL totally."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I retrieve my Bible
I gain the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I position my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I vibes You can see into my soul
silently
You say me You adore
me
Thank You for creature affable to clear
me
even while You see
my sins
even even if I hurt
You

I character Your unstoppable pain
caused by all my sins
they're beating You
in belly of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
behind the crowd
yet I take
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be easy to watch You die
Will I have to near my eyes
Will me innate there
comfort You
I hope appropriately
(Luke 23:21)

Now I stare
upon the One
I have pierced
I take
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I love You, Lord
I attain up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I wise saying Your Heart
bleeding
blood in the same way as answer
droplets of Gospel
I hope I could have healed You then
but this is above
and on top of
a First Aid situation
I needed whatever
Your pretentious Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
with Your resolved,
Grace, cartoon
(1 Peter 2:24)

I hope I could Keep You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side though
for moral support
and she lets me
retain Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I hope I could withhold it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to accept You
away from me
into the frosty tomb
3 days feels gone in view of that long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there next you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
with trust
I undertake
You will rise again
taking into account You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac hope
I go afterward them
my eyes see for You
The tomb is already log on
I wish they had let me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't acknowledge
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can accept you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand :)
I know You adore me
me personally
I retain Your clean hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
subsequently a touchless embrace
of everlasting Mercy
subsequently seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
certainly!

Jesus' reply to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY play in THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU definite ME."
