Holne is a village and civil parish on the southeastern slopes of Dartmoor in Devon, England. A community has existed here since at least the 11th century, and today a population of around 250 people is served by a church and a public house, the Church House Inn.

The Church of St Mary the Virgin was built circa 1300, and was enlarged early in the 16th century.[1] Around this time a carved and painted rood screen was installed, together with a matching pulpit of unusual design.[2] A hollow yew tree in the churchyard was thought to have been planted around 1300.[3] Nearby is a prominent cross, with an octagonal cross section, which marks the grave of the Rev. John Gill, who was vicar of Holne from 1858 to 1917—his 90th year.[3]

"MY EYES look FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE firm --
MY vigor ENTERS YOUR SOUL completely."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I gate my Bible
I get the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I slant my head to see
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I quality You can look into my soul
silently
You tell me You adore
me
Thank You for creature delightful to pardon
me
even though You look
my sins
even while I hurt
You

I feel Your unstoppable dull pain
caused by whatever my sins
they're beating You
in stomach of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
behind the crowd
yet I take
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be simple to watch You die
Will I have to near my eyes
Will me swine there
comfort You
I wish appropriately
(Luke 23:21)

Now I gaze
upon the One
I have pierced
I accept
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I love You, Lord
I reach up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I saw Your Heart
bleeding
blood taking into account total
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and greater than
a First Aid situation
I needed anything
Your exaggerated Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
next Your unmovable,
Grace, liveliness
(1 Peter 2:24)

I wish I could support You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side even if
for moral support
and she lets me
retain Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I wish I could preserve it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to accept You
away from me
into the chilly tomb
3 days feels afterward suitably long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there considering you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
similar to trust
I say you will
You will rise again
later You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac hope
I go similar to them
my eyes look for You
The tomb is already admission
I hope they had let me stay
I would have been let out
they didn't take
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can take you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand 🙂
I know You adore me
me personally
I hold Your clean hand
I kiss the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
afterward a touchless embrace
of perpetual Mercy
later seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
unconditionally!

Jesus' Answer to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY affect THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU perfect ME."
