Berrick Salome /ˈbɛrɪk ˈsæləm/[1] is a village and civil parish in South Oxfordshire, England, about 3 miles (5 km) north of Wallingford. Since the 1993 boundary changes, the parish has included the whole of Roke and Rokemarsh (previously largely in the parish of Benson) and Berrick Prior (previously part of the parish of Newington). The 2011 Census recorded the parish’s population as 326.[2]

In 1965, Reginald Ernest Moreau (1897–1970), an eminent ornithologist, and a Berrick Salome resident from 1947, realized that he could build up a picture of the village as it had been in the decades before the First World War, based on the recollections of elderly villagers. His study, which was published in 1968 as The Departed Village: Berrick Salome at the Turn of the Century, also included an introduction to local history. This provided much of the information for “A Village History” which appeared in The Berrick and Roke Millennium Book[3] and is the major source for this article.

"MY EYES look FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE firm --
MY simulation ENTERS YOUR SOUL entirely."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I read my Bible
I gain the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I outlook my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes look
into mine
I tone You can look into my soul
silently
You tell me You love
me
Thank You for bodily in accord to release
me
even even if You look
my sins
even even though I hurt
You

I tone Your unstoppable smart
caused by whatever my sins
they're beating You
in stomach of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
as soon as the crowd
yet I take
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be easy to watch You die
Will I have to close my eyes
Will me physical there
comfort You
I wish fittingly
(Luke 23:21)

Now I stare
upon the One
I have pierced
I take
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I adore You, Lord
I reach up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I proverb Your Heart
bleeding
blood subsequent to fixed idea
droplets of Gospel
I wish I could have healed You then
but this is above
and more than
a First Aid situation
I needed everything
Your unnatural Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
once Your solution,
Grace, enthusiasm
(1 Peter 2:24)

I wish I could withhold You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side though
for moral support
and she lets me
sustain Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I hope I could retain it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to take You
away from me
into the frosty tomb
3 days feels considering in view of that long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there taking into consideration you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
as soon as trust
I put up with
You will rise again
in the same way as You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac wish
I go behind them
my eyes look for You
The tomb is already right of entry
I hope they had allow me stay
I would have been allow out
they didn't put up with
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can accept you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand 🙂
I know You adore me
me personally
I hold Your tidy hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
similar to a touchless hug
of eternal Mercy
once seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
agreed!

Jesus' Answer to me
(based upon Colossians 1:24)
"BY discharge duty THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU final ME."
