Ackworth is a village and civil parish in the metropolitan borough of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, situated between Pontefract, Barnsley and Doncaster on the small River Went. The village consists of four parts, High Ackworth, Low Ackworth, Ackworth Moor Top, and Brackenhill.[2] According to the 2001 census it had a population of 6,493,[2][3][4] increasing to 7,049 at the 2011 Census.[1] There is also a City of Wakefield Ward called Ackworth, North Elmsall and Upton. At the 2011 Census this ward had a population of 16,099.[5]

The origins of the name of the village are unclear although it is thought that the name may have derived from one of two sources; the first from the Anglo Saxon words ‘Ake’ or ‘Aken’ meaning ‘oak’ and ‘uurt’ with the word ‘worth’ meaning an enclosure or homestead;[6] the second is that it could derive from the Anglo Saxon name ‘Acca’ which when added to the word ‘worth’ could mean ‘Acca’s worth’ or ‘Acca’s enclosure’.[7] A number of place names around the area show that the Anglo Saxons had influence in the region. Words such as ‘worth’ and also ‘tun’, meaning an enclosure or farmstead, are repeatedly found in place names around the area such as Badsworth, Hemsworth and Wentworth as well as Fryston and Allerton.[6][8] The name was first recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Aceuurde and it is thought it became more formalised to ‘Ackworth’ in the 1800s.[7][9]

"MY EYES see FOR YOU;
MY HEART BLEEDS THE unchangeable --
MY moving picture ENTERS YOUR SOUL totally."
                            ~ Jesus

~ My response:

As I door my Bible
I get the feeling
someone is looking
at me
I perspective my head to look
Who
It is You, Jesus
my Savior
Your eyes see
into mine
I tone You can see into my soul
silently
You tell me You adore
me
Thank You for being to your liking to free
me
even though You see
my sins
even while I hurt
You

I vibes Your unstoppable stomach-ache
caused by all my sins
they're beating You
in front of me
I refuse to shout
"Crucify Him!"
in the manner of the crowd
yet I accept
God's Will
Thank You for taking my place
It will not be easy to watch You die
Will I have to near my eyes
Will me monster there
comfort You
I hope correspondingly
(Luke 23:21)

Now I stare
upon the One
I have pierced
I accept
Your blood & water
flowing
healing my soul
I'm sorry
I adore You, Lord
I reach up
venerating
Your Cross
(John 19:34-37)

I stayed
Where else would I go
I axiom Your Heart
bleeding
blood gone perfect
droplets of Gospel
I hope I could have healed You then
but this is above
and exceeding
a First Aid situation
I needed whatever
Your exaggerated Blood
through Your wounds
I am healed
Thank You
for transfusing my heart
behind Your complete,
Grace, spirit
(1 Peter 2:24)

I hope I could sustain You
in my arms
but I know that is Your mother's role
I stand by her side even if
for moral support
and she lets me
support Your lifeless hand
I'm red-handed
and it's my fault
I wish I could preserve it forever
or never wash my hand again
to prove my adore
radical devotion

But they are going to take You
away from me
into the Cool tomb
3 days feels subsequent to in view of that long to wait
I wish I could hibernate in prayer too
in there subsequently you, sadly
praying by Your body
I just have to wait
in the same way as trust
I agree to
You will rise again
later than You told us

After 3 days
of insomniac hope
I go with them
my eyes see for You
The tomb is already admission
I hope they had allow me stay
I would have been allow out
they didn't receive
but I believed You
You search for my eyes
We are reunited
no one can take you away
at least not forever

You wash my still-red hand 🙂
I know You love me
me personally
I maintain Your clean hand
I smooch the nail mark
Your rays of Divine Mercy
now unbloody, unwatery
later a touchless embrace
of classic Mercy
taking into consideration seeing The Light
I trust You, Jesus
completely!

Jesus' reply to me
(based on Colossians 1:24)
"BY produce an effect THE ABOVE --
REACHING UP...
YOU resolved ME."
